Ocean Freight Forwarding — Licensed NVOCC
Full-container and less-than-container ocean freight to and from major ports worldwide, coordinated by a licensed NVOCC that controls the international leg itself.
What ocean freight forwarding with an NVOCC looks like
An ocean freight forwarder plans and manages the sea leg of an international shipment — booking space with ocean carriers, preparing documentation, and lining up the ground legs at both ends. Conveyco goes a step further: as a licensed NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier, FMC 027928NF), we can issue our own bills of lading and contract directly with ocean carriers. That means the international ocean leg is controlled by us, not handed off to a third party you never meet.
We arrange full-container-load (FCL) and less-than-container-load (LCL) container shipping on major trade lanes — Asia, Europe, Latin America, and beyond — along with specialty equipment like reefer, flat rack, open top, and ISO tank when the cargo calls for it.
From our headquarters in Burnsville, Minnesota, minutes from Minneapolis–St. Paul, we coordinate ocean freight for shippers across the Upper Midwest and the rest of the country — port-to-port when that's all you need, door-to-door when you'd rather hand us the whole move.

Why shippers choose Conveyco for ocean freight
Because we're an NVOCC, the ocean booking, the documentation, and the rate all come from the same team that answers the phone when you call. There's no relay race between a sales office and an overseas operator — one point of contact owns your shipment from booking through arrival.
We also coordinate what happens around the ocean leg: drayage at the port, rail or truck inland, transloading or warehousing near Minneapolis if the cargo needs to stage, and customs coordination through a licensed customs broker partner. When one team schedules all of it, cutoffs get met and free-time windows get respected.
