What you'll need for international shipments

Always required
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading (sea) or Air Waybill (air)
Usually required
- Certificate of Origin
- Insurance Certificate (if shipping CIF or CIP)
- Import License (depending on destination country)
Cargo-specific
- Agricultural products: Phytosanitary Certificate, USDA APHIS forms
- Food products: Health Certificate, FDA prior notice
- Dairy and reefer: Pre-Trip Inspection (PTI), temperature log requirements
- Hazardous goods: Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), Dangerous Goods Declaration
